Move to recommend candidates to be interviewed by the Community Livability and Public Safety Committee for Arts Commission vacancies.

Background and Analysis:

The City Council has requested Advisory Committees to help identify candidates to be interviewed for vacant positions. The Community Livability and Public Safety Committee has asked that Advisory Committees screen applications and forward a recommendation of those to be interviewed. Currently, there are two vacancies on the Arts Commission.

 

Climate Analysis:

The Arts Commission Candidate Screening and Recommendation

is not expected to have an impact on greenhouse gas emissions.

 

Equity Analysis:

To evaluate all candidates fairly and equitably, the City will make all applicants anonymous when screening applications.

Options:

1.                     Recommend four candidates to be interviewed by the Community Livability and Public Safety Committee.

2.                     Make a different recommendation to the Community Livability and Public Safety Committee.
