Whether to receive an update on the parking strategy project, and an introduction to the consultant team that has been selected.

Background and Analysis:
The City completed a Request for Proposals (RFP) process to select a consultant for a comprehensive downtown parking strategy. Staff will give an update on the project and introduce the consultant team.
Neighborhood/Community Interests:
The public including downtown residents, business owners, downtown employees and other organizations are interested in any potential changes to the parking system that could result from the parking strategy. These groups are represented in a stakeholder’s group that has been involved from the RFP process and will continue to be involved throughout this project. In addition the public at large will have opportunities to give input.

Financial Impact:
The cost of this project is $173,557. There are sufficient funds in the Parking Management Account (which is funded by parking revenues) for this project.
