Background and Analysis:
Work Plan Development
City advisory committees review and forward their recommended work plan items to the City’s General Government committee each year. Advisory committee work plans cover the upcoming April 2021 to March 2022 time period.
Staff is providing the attached work plan for consideration and approval with revisions based on the input from Committee members in December 2020,
A motion is needed to approve the 2021-2022 work plan.
Staff will forward the UAC’s work plan to the General Government Committee, with Council adoption in March 2021.
Vacancies
The UAC will have one vacancy in 2021. Chair Buffo will be resigning his position. Currently, the General Government Committee does not propose filling the vacancy.
Officer Elections
The UAC needs to elect a Chair and Vice-Chair to take effect April 1, 2021. This can occur at either the February 4th or March 4th UAC meetings. The current Chair and Vice-Chair are Mike Buffo and Cullen Stephenson, respectively.
A motion is needed to approve the new officers.
